Tallow is all the rage as a facial moisturizer right now and rightfully so. This facial balm is made primarily with organic grass fed and finished beef tallow. This stable saturated fat is full of vitamin A, retinol and helps the skin produce collagen, which keeps our skin healthy, and vibrant. I hear a full range of stories about it in my shop, everything from helped my dermatitis, and cleared my acne, to it's the only oil that deeply moisturizes my skin without feeling greasy. The second ingredient is the herb mallow (globe mallow, common mallow, variety mauritania) from my garden, extracted into organic jojoba oil. This is a whole botanical herbal oil, not essential oil. Our skin loves herbal oils because they are gentle, easy to assimilate, and very effective, much like tea is for the body. Mallow is demulcent and moisturizing, soothing, healing and nourishing to our skin. Additionally this product contains raw organic cacao butter, which is emollient and draws the base oils, wax, and herb deeply into our skin for lasting moisture. And lastly, beeswax is added to make it a balm, which allows the product to slowly release itself and retain the moisture in the skin as well. It is humectant, helping our skin to hold moisture. It also has vitamin A and is antibacterial to help with acne and rosacea. This is a wonderful product for people of all ages, and all skin types. This is a PUFE free, organic, essential oil free, whole botanical product.
